With the scorching summer heat already giving us the hot vibes, the UV rays are also taking a toll on our skin. Hence, protecting it is a must. As dry skin, rough patches, pigmentation are common skin problems that most people face during summer, here are a few skin care tips you should follow to combat the heat of the sun on your skin.

Apply sunscreen at least twice-thrice in a day and always apply it 15 mins before leaving home. Buy a sunscreen that has UVA and UVB protection and comes with SPF 30 and SPF 60.

Avoid using soap on your face as it could give you dry skin and also clog those pores. Instead, use an oil-free face wash that would give you a fresh look. Also, using an oil-free face wash can cause less production of oil.

Always carry a facial mist and a hand sanitizer as touching your dirty hands on the sweaty face can lead to breakouts.

To get a glowing skin during summer, gently exfoliate your skin twice or thrice a week to get rid of the dead skin cells. As your body sheds a lot of skin cells, getting rid of it is essential as it could give you dry skin.

Use cooling gems and balm if you are going to be out in the sun for a longer time

Eat a lot of fruits rich in vitamin C and drinks lots of water to stay hydrated all throughout the day. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water each day and always carry a water bottle whenever you step out of the house.

Use a light fruity lotion to keep the skin fresh during summer

Pamper your feet with an in-house pedicure by using a scrub and a scrapper to get rid of the dead skin cells. Do it at least once in a week to keep the feet soft and glowing.

Avoid doing make-up on the skin during summer and eye makeup should be strictly avoided.

So follow the above tips and keep your skin fresh and glowing all throughout the summer season.
