With the kind of fast-paced lifestyle we live in, our health takes a back seat as we dig in everything and anything that comes our way. Also, due to less time or no time, people are giving up on exercise and healthy eating habits. While this may not be a problem for everyone, but a few always think about ways of reducing fat and the most common problem is the belly area.

And so here we give you a few tips which don’t require you to exercise, just instead follow these diet tips and you are good to go.

Don’t eat 2-3 hours before going to bed:
As your body slows down when you sleep, it is less likely to digest the food that you eat. Also, as you are less active during the evening or night time, your body will consume the food that you eat as fats rather than burning them as energy. So avoid eating at least 2-3 hours before going to bed.

Eat healthy:
You are what you eat and if you eat unhealthy foodstuffs like pizzas, burgers and others then its sure going to show up on your body. Hence, eating healthy food is essential for a healthy living. So eat foods that are rich in protein, eat whole grains, eat low-fat dairy products and lower your sodium intake. Just by following this simple idea, you’ll notice a lot of difference in your stomach.

Have small meals:
Most people eat the right food, but they consume it in more quantity. You should eat only till you feel full and then stop. So eat in small portions and chew food well. Also, take small breaks in between every bite size of food you eat and include nuts and seeds as they will make you feel fuller.

Eat low-glycemic foods:
Foods like cabbage, broccoli, dark leaf lettuce, onions, pears and bananas take longer time to digest and make you feel full for a longer time. Hence, try to consume more of such foods.

Lower your sugar intake:
Avoid having cakes, pastries and other sweets as they are full of calories and trigger an increase in huger that might result in weight gain.

Eat every 2 hours:
While trying to lose weight people make the mistake of eating nothing at all between breakfast, lunch, snack time and dinner. But doing this might increase your blood sugar levels and cause you to eat more and increase weight.
