Vaginal odour can be very embarrassing as it gives out an unpleasant smell which can make you and people around you very uncomfortable. Generally, vaginal odour is a result of bacterial and yeast infections, hormonal changes, poor hygiene and STDs.

So here are a few tips which you need to follow to get rid of this fishy smell

Wash the vagina at least three-four times a day. Cleanse the area well and also avoid scrubbing as it can cause rashes or irritation of the skin. Wash the area with a good anti bacterial soap and also change the underwear twice a day.

Avoid alcohol and sugary foods as they can promote the growth of yeast in the vagina. So have a healthy diet full of fresh vegetables and fruits.

After sex always wash the area well as it can enhance the growth of microorganism and lead to urinary tract infections . Also, urinate after sex as it washes away all the microorganisms and reduces the risk of STIs.

Avoid using products that contain too much chemicals as they can cause irritation in that area.

Drink Fenugreek Soaked Water

Take fenugreek seeds and soak in water overnight and then drink the mixture every morning on an empty stomach. Do this for at least 2 weeks.

Use apple cider vinegar:

Mix apple cider vinegar in a glass of water and drink this mixture daily.

You can also mix apple cider vinegar in water and sit in this water for 15-209 minutes.

Use garlic:

Known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties, garlic can be really beneficial for helping you get rid of the dirty vaginal smell.

Take a garlic clove, wrap it in a cloth and insert it in the vagina as it can help you eliminate the yeast and fungal infection.

Use salt and vinegar:

Mix salt and vinegar and sit in this mixture for 10-15 minutes.
